To My Genuine Online Fans

I want to say, I would like to give you more online - songs, videos, live shows - to keep you connected and involved in what I'm doing.  Due to circumstances - living conditions not being great these past years, no help from anyone - I've had to do what I can alone to keep this Music progressing.  Since I was essentially playing for free live online and very few people were donating tips and very few were purchasing downloads of recordings, I found I was getting a fairer return for what I do playing out on the streets.  This is the reason I've been away for so long.  Since I was on my own, I had so much to do I couldn't keep both going so it had to be either online or in person, and in person provided the funding I needed to carry on.  I would like to stay connected with my genuine online fans and not disappear for so long but its a two-way thing.  I've explained many times to people (and on this website) why I don't want to play in pubs/bars.  People who liked what I do outside on the streets would often say they wish they could listen to me in a better environment.  Well, for now, this is the best I can do... to play live from here to live wherever you are.  But to continue this I need your support.  If I am supported sufficiently online I don't have to go elsewhere so much.

Welcome!

Welcome to the new David William site!

Previously there was a separate SoulJahm and David William website.  Looking after these as well as the costs for the domains didn't prove fruitful and with the rise of social media platforms it no longer seemed necessary to have a website.

However, now in 2020 it feels right again and a chance to bring together all my work under one roof, so to speak.  You can more easily follow the progression of the songs, some which started out under one artist name only to end up re-recorded under a new name.  It's also a chance to more easily follow what I'm up to - whether it's playing live online or the latest video. This is where it all comes together.  Hope you enjoy!
